How do you conjugate “I Amsterdam?”

This time around, I recognized Amsterdam's individual charm and character, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Europe. Regardless of your views on soft-drug use, legalized prostitution, getting run-over by bicycles, or whatever else you may have preconceptions of Amsterdam being notorious for, I honestly believe anyone and everyone would enjoy this city. Go there!

A Bridge, Right Over There

On the second day in Arnhem, Howard and I decided to explore the northern part of town in an attempt to find a castle located in a large park system. The weather turned sour very quickly in the morning, but we didn't let it hold us back.

An Evening in Rotterdam

After collecting some lost objects and eating breakfast, Marc, Howard and I left Varsseveld for Arnhem to drop off some belongings, and then continued west to Rotterdam to meet up with Shelley and her friend Gabrielle. Shelley lived down the hall from me when I studied abroad in Karlstad, Sweden, and I was very excited to meet up with her once again.

Prague Without Reservations

The touristy spots in the town were packed with tourists from around the world, so we spent a lot of time people watching on the Charles Bridge and relaxing with beers along the Vltava River. When we were joined by Sara and Ryan the following days, we quickly discovered that these activities are universally celebrated by our family and friends no matter where we visited in the city.

January: Reflection & Photos

I apologize. I started off January with back-to-back-to-back posts, all of which were great, and then nothing cool happened worthy of its own post. School's back in session, and work, and my internship, and skiing (of course), so there has been little time for catching up anyways.
