A Little Line

Not a ton happened this past weekend except a big night in Aspen and some skiing at Snowmass. My camera died early on, but my dad busted out his new camera to film this little line up on the Cirque Headwall at Snowmass.

Also, you might have noticed the logos have changed on my sidebar, I am now working for Cross Clothing as they expand into the Rocky Mountain Region. They are based out of Gothenburg, Sweden (my favorite large city in Sweden) and I’m stoked to be working for them, in particular because of my experiences in Sweden, and also because the Scandinavian design of their outerwear is super radical.

Speaking of Cross, their former rider Jon Olsson was right behind me during the X Games Men’s halfpipe filming for his video blog. The edit he and his filmer Crill made is sick, and right at the end of Kevin Rolland’s super gnarly winning run around 3:50, you can see me! Or at least the black hood of the jacket I was wearing. I was stoked to shake Jon’s hand nonetheless, he is the hardest working man in freeskiing (and possibly all of skiing). I was pretty bummed I didn’t see him bust the Tornado during the Skier Big Air comp, but I don’t think it would have beaten Bobby Brown’s switch double misty 1440 anyways. I don’t think Bobby Brown will beat Jon at the 2014 Olympics though.
