Michael Allen will probably wallop me in Fantasy Football this week, and he added insult to injury when he used a photo of mine without giving me a dime. Bent Gate Mountaineering’s “Ski Season Kick-Off Party” advertisement does look amazingly good, however, especially with the amazing photography of my buddy Trine Vik ripping it up at Berthoud Pass.
Nonetheless, the event should be a blast and I will most definitely be in attendance, so you should check out more info and buy tickets by clicking on the picture or clicking this link.
You can also see the original picture in all it’s glory in this original post.
Ouch! Theft of a photo is nasty – a letter from a lawyer might be in order? At least he gave you credit, which is better than nothing.
Hello M. Paul!
Luckily, I work at Bent Gate Mountaineering. The text is meant to be a humorous jab at my coworker, but in reality I’m stoked and happy he used it, especially considering it’s probably one of the best photos I’ve taken of skiing and it didn’t do much but sit on the internet awaiting with all it’s potential.

Ah – no worries then 🙂 I’ve heard horror stories about photo theft, so I assume the worst. In that case – congrats!
