At the top of the South Col, my still-camera completely died, so I switched over to my GoPro for footage. As luck would have it, most of the rappel and first part of the ski footage was corrupted, so I have had a hell of a time trying to get it to work, and in the process lost most of the cool rappel footage. I still put this together though, and I will completely agree with you if you think the second half sucks. In my defense, my legs were pretty wobbly from the 5,000 vertical foot climb, and going third in a party of three doesn’t leave much snow through the crux section. It was still a blast, however, and definitely the most core ski mountaineering assault I have ever done. Enjoy!
