Valley of Castles

Time was getting close to 4pm, which was when we were supposed to be back at the bus. All of the crew was ready to head back, but I spied some cars further away that looked like they were at a pretty good viewpoint. I left the others in a slight jog to check it out, and sure enough, it was probably the most beautiful views of the entire trip.

An American Roadtrip

The next morning, I intended to go on a ~9 mile run to Hermitage Point, a peninsula that juts into Jackson Lake. I took a wrong turn at one point, so it turned into an 11.5 mile run, but the views were well worth the work to get there.

Munich and the Romantic Road

It was still very summer-like in Munich, with crowds of lightly-dressed tourists throughout the streets. The city seemed more crowded than when I was there for Oktoberfest in 2008, but that might have been because Thereisienwiese was to be empty for another week until the first keg was to be tapped.
